Masquerade
A masquerade is a contest for cosplayers/costumers who want to show off their costumes on stage. Some cosplayers choose to perform skits and others show off their craftsmanship to compete for prizes.
At ScottyCon's masquerade, all entries will participate in a walk-on á la fashion show as an opportunity to show off their costume.
The masquerade will be held from 5:00-5:45 PM on the main performance stage. You can register for our walk-on fashion show and craftsmanship competition here.

Leilani Zhang
Leilani Zhang (@sibby.does.things) is the current Vice President of Cosplay@CMU and an amateur cosplayer. She has been involved in Scottycon since 2021, and has previously won "Best in Craftsmanship" in Scottycon 2022. She has cosplayed characters from League of Legends, Elden Ring, and most recently, Baldur's Gate 3. Her newly-discovered favorite cosplay material is Worbla!
Corwynte Cosplay
A longtime cosplayer and self-taught sewist, Corwynte enjoys sharing their love of creating costumes and bringing their favorite characters to life! Cosplay has been their catalyst to learn a variety of skills, from sewing techniques and embroidery to 3d modeling and printing, and they’ve won craftsmanship awards and judged at various cons around the region.
Steph Pixxi
Stephie Lynz (@stephie.gif) is a cosplayer, model and fashion enthusiast that has been cosplaying since 2016. She has been featured in several cosplay publications such as Cosplay Kingdom and Cosplay Realm Magazine. Stephie began her love of costume-making while studying theatre at Cleveland State University. She has cosplayed from many genres, from games to anime to comics. Stephie’s favorite character she has ever brought to life is Poison Ivy, and her favorite cosplay material is foam!
